the old oven finally kicked the bucket on christmas eve. we purchased a new one yesterday and this only leads to me wanting to do a complete kitchen remodel. i think we'll have to make do with a thorough cleaning of the old kitchen before the new oven arrives.

i came up with a name for this phenomenon--replacing one thing which leads to another and another--but i can't remember what it was. i think it was called "consequences of a broken bed." that's not too catchy though.
do the remodel...i can give you some neat-o color swatches...it will be like our own version of trading places or makeover your friend's house or something...
That happened to us when we got some free flooring. We ended up redoing almost the whole house. It was worth it in the end, though.
